To Buffy: “I'm dating, I'm having serious dating with a
werewolf, a-and I'm studying witchcraft and killing vampires, and I
didn't have anyone to talk to about all this scary life
stuff. And you were my best friend.”
Willow: I-I know I've been sort of a party-poop lately, so I said to myself, "Self!" I said, "It's time to shake and shimmy it off."
Buffy: Sounds like a good policy.
Willow: Yeah! And it works, too. You know, I figure, in the grand scheme of things, we're all just—
Buffy: Drunk...?
Willow: Drunk... I mean, that's such a-a strong word. Kind of a guttural Anglo-Saxon word. Drunk.
Giles: I'm.. a bit concerned about you, actually.
Willow: Did Buffy tell you about the beer, 'cause...
Giles: Uh, Buffy didn't tell me anything...
Willow: Oh, well.. forget the beer part then.
Cordelia:
Cordelia: Time out, Xander. Put yourself in Buffy's shoes for just a
minute. Okay? I'm Buffy, freak of nature, right? Naturally I pick a
freak for a boyfriend, and then he turns into Mr. Killing Spree, which
is pretty much my fault...
Buffy: Cordy! Get outta my shoes!
Tries to say good bye to Angel: “Don't make it hard, Angel. I'm just on a different road... and this is my off-ramp. The Powers That Be owed me one, and I didn't waste it. I got my guy back on track.”
Faith:
About Buffy: “All my life there was only one person that tried to be my friend, - went out of her way when I had no right or reason to expect her to - and I screwed her. Not to mention her boyfriend, only - him literally.”
Darla:
To Angel: “We did so many terrible things together. So much destruction, so much pain. We can't make up for any of it. You know that, don't you. This child, Angel, it's the one good thing we ever did together. The only good thing.”
